Dear Colleages:

Recently Jerry Hampton left municipal service to seek employment in the private sector. As a result Mr. Hampton has resigned from his position as the association president.

Considering Mr. Hampton’s (Jerry’s) recent resignation as association president; the board has decided that the simplest course of action would be for me as vice president to assume the role of president for the remainder of his term.

The position of vice president will remain vacant until an election can be held during the spring business meeting.

CEZOA.org now LIVE

Our own site is now up and LIVE! Go check it out at cezoa.org. Now here is where you'll play an important role. Since this is just something I do in my spare time, I'll need everyone to pitch in with stories and content that we would like to share. We can use this blog site as an incubator for ideas and material that will ultimately get on cezoa.org.

Blogging 101

Usually, a blog is set up by one person for their own use. In this case, I would like to have set this up to invite everyone within the Organization to publish and create blog entries. I have included the officers for now to create posts, but I intend to provide all 100+ members with author priveleges. Since I do not have everyone's current email, I will be following up with all participants who make a comment in anyone's posting to provide them specific authoring rights.

To stay updated with new entries within the blog, you can become a subscriber by being a follower on the lower left of the page. That way, you get email notifications of any updates available. If you choose not to be a subscriber, I hope you continue to check back here on a weekly basis for updated information.
